Op zaterdag 2 september komt Benny Bettane voor de 2e keer naar Roermond voor een handpan workshop en een donation based concert. In april 2023 gaf hij een beginners workshop, die hij nu weer komt geven. Maar ook een workshop voor ‘intermediate’: dus voor mensen met al wat ervaring op de handpan.
’s Avonds geeft hij weer een waanzinnig concert. Benny is echt zó ontzettend getalenteerd én een fantastische leraar: hier wil je bij zijn!

🎵 ABOUT BENNY BETTANE
All the way from Australia but currently based in Antwerp, he is an internationally renowned handpan player, multi-instrumentalist, composer and handpan teacher. As a pioneer of handpan composition and performance, Benny developed a unique and effective method of teaching handpan with great success.
For the last 9 years he has been performing and teaching throughout Europe, Russia, Asia, Africa and North America. He explores the creative bounds of his instrument playing with musicians in multiple styles, including world music, jazz, funk, electronic music, and rap, creating new interesting fusion genres.
On the spiritual side Benny uses the power of the handpan for healing through sound sessions. His magic has traveled around the world, attracting various yogis and spiritual celebrities as Guruji sri sri Ravi Schankar and Bhakti Yoga educator Saul David Raye.
It is his biggest passion to guide people to release the sounds that come from heart -to the handpan! So join us for this workshop if you want to explore the instrument. Limited spaces!

Always loved the sound of a handpan? Curious about how to play, wondering how to produce a sound? We will be hosting the renowned Benny Bettane first touch handpan workshop (3 hours) at LUZ Roermond. It will be a very practical workshop in which you can play and learn a lot from Benny Bettane.

Rental price for handpan for the workshop = included. Benny works with different handpan builders from around the world, who are in his belief masters of the craft and the best quality available, so it gives everyone a good honest perspective to discover the handpan differences!
Water, tea and a handful of nuts (good for the brain, which has to work a lot during the workshop) is also included.
Benny will guide you step by step through the wonders of the handpan. At the end you can be amazed that you can already play (together) for a bit on the beautiful instrument! Afterwards you also get some video’s and more study material by e-mail.

You have some or a little experience playing the handpan and you want to deepen your practice, learn new skills and meet more Handpan lovers and play together? It will be a very practical workshop in which you can play with and learn a lot from Benny Bettane.

Graag reserveren via contact formulier (gratis), zodat we weten hoeveel mensen er komen.
We zitten op matjes, kussens en dekens. Neem je eigen kussen/matje mee als je dat fijn vindt.
De ruimte heeft een hele mooie akoestiek. Er zijn wc’s aanwezig in het gebouw en er is water.
Inloop vanaf 18:50 uur. Om 19:10 uur sluiten de deuren! Het concert duurt ongeveer 1,5 uur
